Who We Are
Karen Lawrence is a Professional Organizer and the owner of Our Journey Moments LLC. As a former Vice President of a top financial firm who frequently travelled for business, Karen quickly learned the importance of staying organized in both her home and office to be successful. Her knack for organizing became even more crucial when it came time to raise a family. Keeping a family organized can have its challenges, but Karen found simple solutions to make life less stressful.
She is fortunate to have the opportunity to work directly with clients and help them create spaces that enable them to thrive. Additionally, she teaches a decluttering class at the JCC Center for Life Long Development. While every client and situation is different, we all have common goals.
To each new project, Karen brings her experiences from working with individual clients and her declutter class participants.
She is a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals. She actively takes classes to stay informed on the different struggles her clients may experience. She has a Level 1 Certificate of Study in ADHD from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD)
Karen is a fellow Staten Island resident and a member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce.
A Note From Karen:
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved organizing! It started when I was young and I’d often find myself rearranging my room and other parts of the house. This love of order followed me throughout my life.
I started this company after assisting my uncle to downsize his home. I saw first hand how overwhelming it can be to go through a lifetime of memories and prepare for a new chapter. It was then that I knew I wanted to help others to tackle their decluttering and organizing projects.
I am excited to work with you to help you create a less stressful and more productive home, business, and life.
